And when Rehobo´am was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin a hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehobo´am.

He reigned three years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Michai´ah the daughter of U´ri-el of Gib´e-ah. And there was war between Abi´jah and Jerobo´am.


And Abi´jah stood up upon mount Zemara´im, which is in mount E´phra-im, and said, Hear me, thou Jerobo´am, and all Israel;
