And the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycamore trees that are in the low plains in abundance.


Then answered Amos, and said to Amazi´ah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was a herdman, and a gatherer of sycamore fruit:


For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.


The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.


wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.


And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him; for he was to pass that way.


Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.


and over the olive trees and the sycamore trees that were in the low plains was Ba´al–ha´nan the Ge´derite: and over the cellars of oil was Jo´ash:
