so man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.

Neither did Jerobo´am recover strength again in the days of Abi´jah: and the Lord struck him, and he died.


He reigned three years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Michai´ah the daughter of U´ri-el of Gib´e-ah. And there was war between Abi´jah and Jerobo´am.
