who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.


When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.


that led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?


In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.


For my name's sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.


He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord.


He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.


Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;


Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.


By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:


and showedst signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of his land: for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them. So didst thou get thee a name, as it is this day.


And all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because the Lord God of Israel fought for Israel.


And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing today.


For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for?


Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:


O Lord, there is none like thee, neither is there any God besides thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.


For thy people Israel didst thou make thine own people for ever; and thou, Lord, becamest their God.


and hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror;
