And they stood before Moses and Eleazar the priest, and before the rulers and all the congregation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,


And Moses said to his father-in-law, Because the people come to me to seek God.


And whoever in the open field touches one that has been pierced with a sword, or one that has died of himself, or the bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.


He that touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.


Command the sons of Israel, and they shall send every leper out of the camp, and everyone flowing, and everyone defiled by a dead body.


Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas into the praetorium, and it was early. And they did not enter into the praetorium that they might not be defiled, but that they might eat the Passover.


And a clean person shall take hyssop, and shall dip it in the water, and shall sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave.


And they judged the people at all times; the hard matters they brought to Moses, and every small matter they judged themselves.


Now listen to my voice. I will counsel you, and may God be with you. You be for this people before God, and you bring the matters to God.


And Moses brought their cause before Jehovah.


And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation.


And the son of the woman of Israel blasphemed the Name, and cursed. And they brought him in to Moses; and his mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.


he shall not come near any dead person; not for his father; not for his mother shall he defile himself.


And those men said to him, We are defiled by the body of a man. Why are we restrained so as not to be able to offer the offering of Jehovah in its appointed season, in the midst of the sons of Israel?


This is the law when a man dies in a tent: Everyone coming into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
