But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat from the bread, and let him drink from the cup;


leave your gift there before the altar, and go. First, be reconciled to your brother, and then, coming, offer your gift.


And the Passover of the Jews was near. And many went up to Jerusalem out of the country before the Passover, that they might purify themselves.


And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,


In the second month, on the fourteenth day at dusk, they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened cakes and bitter herbs;


And the king and his leaders, and all the assembly in Jerusalem, took counsel to keep the Passover in the second month;


For many of the assembly, many from Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun had not been sanctified, but ate the passover not as was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, O good Jehovah, atone for them,


And many people gathered to Jerusalem, to keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread in the second month, a very large assembly.
