And Jehovah said to Moses, Speak to the priests, Aaron’s sons, and you shall say to them, None shall be defiled for the dead among his people.


And the days that the plague shall be in him, he is unclean; he shall live alone, he is unclean; his dwelling shall be at the outside of the camp.


And Jehovah said to Moses, If spitting her father had but spat in her face, should she not be humiliated seven days? She shall be shut out seven days at the outside of the camp, and afterward she shall be brought in.


And encamp outside the camp seven days. Whoever has killed any person, and whoever touched a pierced one, purify yourselves on the third day and on the seventh day, you and your captives.


And four men, being lepers, were at the gate entrance. And they said each man to his neighbor, Why should we sit here until we die?


And the priest shall look, and, behold, if the scab has spread in the skin, the priest shall account him unclean; it is leprosy.


And he who is to be cleansed shall wash his garments, and shall shave all his hair, and shall bathe with water, and shall be clean. And afterwards he shall come into the camp, and shall live on the outside of his tent seven days.


For any person who is not humbled in this same day shall be cut off from his people.


And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,


And the cloud turned away from the tent. And, behold Miriam was leprous as snow! And Aaron turned toward Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous!


And the leper who has the plague in him, his garments shall be torn, and his head shall be uncovered, and he shall cover the upper lip; and he shall call out, Unclean! Unclean!
