5 And the people spoke against God, and against Moses, Why have you brought us out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, and there is no water; and our soul hates this light bread.

And they spoke against God, saying, Shall God be able to set a table in the wilderness?


And all the congregation of the sons of Israel murmured on the next day against Moses and against Aaron, saying, You have killed the people of Jehovah.


And the sons of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.


And they said to Moses, Were there no graves in Egypt, that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What is this you have done to us, to bring us out from Egypt?


A sated soul tramples a honeycomb, but to a hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.


God causes the lonely ones to live at home; He brings out those who are bound with chains, while the ones rebelling dwell in a dry land.


And the house of Israel called its name, Manna. And it was like the seed of coriander, white; and its taste like cakes with honey.


And the sons of Israel looked. And they said, each man to his brother, What is that? For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, That is the bread which Jehovah has given to you for food.


And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?


Neither over-tempt the Christ, as some of them tempted, and were destroyed by serpents.


But the sons rebelled against Me. They did not walk in My statutes, and they did not keep My judgments, to do them, which if a man does them, he shall live by them. They profaned My sabbaths. And I said I would pour out My fury on them, to complete My anger against them in the wilderness.


but to a month of days, until it it comes up out of your nostrils, and it shall become to you a loathsome thing, because you have despised Jehovah who is in your midst, and weep before Him, saying, Why is it that we have come out of Egypt?
