And David asked of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go? And shall I strike against these Philistines? And Jehovah said to David, Go, and you shall strike the Philistines and save Keilah.

and gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents, and ten thousand darics; and ten thousand talents of silver, and eighteen thousand talents of bronze, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.


And the days that David reigned over Israel were forty years. He reigned seven years in Hebron, and he reigned thirtythree years in Jerusalem.


And at the end of forty years, it happened, Absalom said to the king, Please let me go and I shall pay my vow that I have vowed to Jehovah, in Hebron.


And David asked of Jehovah, and He said, You shall not go up. Turn around to go after them, and come to them in front of the weeping trees.


And David asked of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? Will You give them into my hand? And Jehovah said to David, Go up, for giving I will give the Philistines into your hand.


And it happened, the number of the days that David was king in Hebron, over the house of Judah, was seven years and six months.

And they went up into the Negeb, and came to Hebron. And Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the sons of Anak, were there. And Hebron had been built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.


Then Abram moved his tent and came and lived among the oaks of Mamre, which were in Hebron; and he built an altar to Jehovah there.


And he gave a portion to Caleb the son of Jephunneh among the sons of Judah, according to the command of Jehovah to Joshua: the City of Arba, the father of Anak; it is Hebron.


And they inquired again of Jehovah, Has the man yet come here? And Jehovah said, Behold he is hiding himself by the baggage.


and Zorah, and Aijalon, and Hebron. These were in Judah and in Benjamin as fortied cities.
