When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying, *Don't be afraid. I am the first and the last,


I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, like a shofar


As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.


He said, Hear now my words: if there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known to him in a vision, I will speak with him in a dream.

God came to Bil`am at night, and said to him, If the men are come to call you, rise up, go with them; but only the word which I speak to you, that shall you do.


When the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell on Avram. Now terror and great darkness fell on him.


After these things the word of the LORD came to Avram in a vision, saying, *Don't be afraid, Avram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.*


How goodly are your tents, Ya`akov, and your tents, Yisra'el!


He took up his parable, and said, Bil`am the son of Be'or says, the man whose eye was closed says;


He said, I saw all Yisra'el scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master; let them return every man to his house in shalom.
