He came and found them sleeping, and said to Kefa, *Shim`on, are you sleeping? Couldn't you watch one hour?


When he rose up from his prayer, he came to the talmidim, and found them sleeping because of grief,


He came again and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.


Now Kefa and those who were with him were heavy with sleep, but when they were fully awake, they saw his glory, and the two men who stood with him.


Kefa said to him, *Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you.* All of the talmidim also said likewise.


Then he said to them, *My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here, and watch with me.*


Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept.


The king of Yisra'el answered, Tell him, Don't let him who girds on [his armor] boast himself as he who puts it off.


and it shall be, that in the morning, as soon as the sun is up, you shall rise early, and rush on the city; and behold, when he and the people who are with him come out against you, then may you do to them as you shall find occasion.


I was asleep, but my heart was awake. It is the voice of my beloved who knocks: *Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled; for my head is filled with dew, and my hair with the dampness of the night.*


Watch and pray, that you don't enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.*
