When therefore the people saw the sign which Yeshua did, they said, *This is truly the prophet who comes into the world.*


Many of the multitude therefore, when they heard these words, said, *This is truly the prophet.*


Fear took hold of all, and they glorified God, saying, *A great prophet has arisen among us!* and, *God has visited his people!*


This is that Moshe, who said to the children of Yisra'el, 'The Lord our God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me. '


Therefore they asked the blind man again, *What do you say about him, because he opened your eyes?* He said, *He is a prophet.*


and came and lived in a city called Natzeret; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophets: *He will be called a Natzri.*

Nevertheless I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the next day, for it can't be that a prophet perish outside of Yerushalayim.'


Now when the Parush who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, *This man, if he were a prophet, would have perceived who and what kind of woman this is who touches him, that she is a sinner.*


When he had come into Yerushalayim, all the city was stirred up, saying, *Who is this?*


But if we say, 'From men,' we fear the multitude, for all hold Yochanan as a prophet.*


When they sought to seize him, they feared the multitudes, because they considered him to be a prophet.
