He said, *Who are you, Lord?* The Lord said, *I am Yeshua, whom you are persecuting.


Herod said, *Yochanan I beheaded, but who is this, about whom I hear such things?* He sought to see him.


Those who sat at the table with him began to say to themselves, *Who is this who even forgives sins?*


The scribes and the Perushim began to reason, saying, *Who is this that speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?*


Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Botzrah? this who is glorious in his clothing, marching in the greatness of his strength? I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.


Who is this who comes up from the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all spices of the merchant?


Shemu'el did that which the LORD spoke, and came to Beit-Lechem. The elders of the city came to meet him trembling, and said, Come you peaceably?


So they two went until they came to Beit-Lechem. It happened, when they were come to Beit-Lechem, that all the city was moved about them, and [the women] said, Is this Na`omi 1?


The Judeans therefore answered him, *What sign do you show us, seeing that you do these things?*


They asked him, *Tell us: by what authority do you do these things? Or who is giving you this authority?*


When Herod the king heard it, he was troubled, and all Yerushalayim with him.


The multitudes who went before him, and who followed kept shouting, *Hoshia`na to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hoshia`na in the highest!*


The multitudes said, *This is the prophet, Yeshua, from Natzeret of the Galil.*
