The report about him went out into all Syria. They brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them.


Behold, they brought to him a man who was paralyzed, lying on a bed. Yeshua, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, *Son, cheer up! Your sins are forgiven you.*


Immediately Yeshua, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said to them, *Why do you reason these things in your hearts?


But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins*--he said to the paralytic--


He said to her, *Your sins are forgiven.*
