In these lay a great multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, or paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water;


He came down to Kefar-Nachum, a city of the Galil. He was teaching them on the day of Shabbat,


He came to Natzeret, where he had been brought up. He entered, as was his custom, into the synagogue on the day of Shabbat, and stood up to read.


Yeshua went about in all Galil, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.


Some therefore of the Perushim said, *This man is not from God, because he doesn't keep the Shabbat.* Others said, *How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?* There was division among them.


Yeshua, answering, spoke to the Torah scholars and Perushim, saying, *Is it lawful to heal on the Shabbat?*


He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the day of Shabbat.


Now it happened on the second Shabbat after the first, that he was going through the grain fields. His talmidim plucked the heads of grain, and ate, rubbing them in their hands.


It happened, when the king heard the saying of the man of God, which he cried against the altar in Beit-El, that Yarov`am put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. His hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not draw it back again to him.


Woe to the worthless shepherd who leaves the flock! The sword will be on his arm, and on his right eye. His arm will be completely withered, and his right eye will be totally blinded!*


He said to them, *The Son of Man is lord of the Shabbat.*
