He went forward a little, fell on his face, and prayed, saying, *My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire.*


Again, a second time he went away, and prayed, saying, *My Father, if this cup can't pass away from me unless I drink it, your desire be done.*


He said, *Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.*


I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.*


Yeshua therefore said to Kefa, *Put the sword into its sheath. The cup which the Father has given me, shall I not surely drink it?*


But Yeshua answered, *You don't know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be immersed with the immersion that I am immersed with?* They said to him, *We are able.*


I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I don't seek my own will, but the will of my Father who sent me.


For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.


Yeshua said to them, *My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work.


Thus says your Lord GOD, and your God who pleads the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of staggering, even the bowl of the cup of my wrath; you shall no more drink it again:


He left them again, went away, and prayed a third time, saying the same words.


For thus says the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, to me: take this cup of the wine of wrath at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send you, to drink it.


Awake, awake, stand up, Yerushalayim, that have drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his wrath; you have drunken the bowl of the cup of staggering, and drained it.


Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.


At that time, Yeshua answered, *I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants.


Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight.


Yeshua said, *Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing.* Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots.


When he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, *The Lord's will be done.*
