They watched him, whether he would heal him on the day of Shabbat, that they might accuse him.


They watched him, and sent out spies, who pretended to be righteous, that they might trap him in something he said, so as to deliver him up to the power and authority of the governor.


Now as he spoke, a certain Parush asked him to dine with him. He went in, and sat at the table.


They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.


If he comes to see me, he speaks falsehood. His heart gathers iniquity to itself. When he goes abroad, he tells it.


The scribes and the Perushim watched him, to see whether he would heal on the Shabbat, that they might find an accusation against him.


for as he thinks about the cost, so he is. *Eat and drink!* he says to you, but his heart is not with you.


The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to kill him.


Now there was a man of the Perushim named Nakdimon, a ruler of the Judeans.


But one stood up in the council, a Parush named Gamli'el, a teacher of the Torah, honored by all the people, and commanded to put the emissaries out for a little while.


Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the day of Shabbat.*


Behold, a certain man who had dropsy was in front of him.


Being asked by the Perushim when the Kingdom of God would come, he answered them, *The Kingdom of God doesn't come with observation;
