If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn't bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man's religion is worthless.


He who guards his mouth guards his soul. One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.


For, *He who would love life, and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.


For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.*


Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.


Who can say, *I have made my heart pure. I am clean and without sin?*


Surely there is not a righteous man on earth, who does good and doesn't sin.


As it is written, *There is no one righteous; no, not one.


Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.


If they sin against you (for there is no man who doesn't sin), and you are angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captive to the land of the enemy, far off or near;


For whoever keeps the whole Torah, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.


For we have all become as one who is unclean, and all our righteousness is as a polluted garment: and we all fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.


but I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.


make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Yeshua the Messiah, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amein.

But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Messiah Yeshua, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.


For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.


In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience, but he who restrains his lips does wisely.


Whoever guards his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.


You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.


then the Kohen shall examine them; and behold, if the bright spots on the skin of their body are a dull white, it is a harmless rash, it has broken out in the skin; he is clean.


That you turn your spirit against God, and let such words go out of your mouth?
