Then I took the scroll out of the angel's hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. And when I ate it, my stomach was made bitter.


Then a reed was given to me like a rod, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship in it.


Then some of the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations saw their corpse three-and-a-half days, and they will not allow their corpses to be put into a tomb.


Then I saw an angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people,


And there are seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And whenever he comes, he must abide for a short time.


And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings who not yet have received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings for one hour with the Beast.


Then he said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.


And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; because You were slain, and You redeemed us to God by Your blood, out of every tribe and language and people and nation;
