And behold, a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered by waves; but He was sleeping.


Then He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them. Now about the fourth watch of the night He came to them walking on the sea, and He intended to pass by them.


And the sea was agitated by a great blowing wind.


for he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a considerable crowd was added to the Lord.


And from there having put to sea, we sailed under the sheltered side of Cyprus, because the winds were against us.
