And as they were going out, behold, they brought to Him a mute man, being demon-possessed.


Then they were all amazed, so that they were disputing among themselves, saying, "What is this? What new doctrine is this, that He commands even the unclean spirits with authority, and they obey Him?"


And immediately he arose, and taking his bed, he went out before them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!"


And they feared exceedingly, and were saying to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!"


And immediately the little girl arose and was walking about, for she was twelve years old. And they were overcome with great amazement.


Then He went up with them into the boat and the wind ceased. And they were greatly astounded among themselves beyond measure, and were marveling.


And He ordered them that they should tell no one; but the more He ordered them, the more exceedingly they would proclaim it.


In those days, when a great crowd had gathered, and not having anything to eat, Jesus, having summoned His disciples and said to them,


And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this Man did nothing wrong."


And the crowds, seeing what Paul did, raised their voice, saying in the Lycaonian language, "The gods have been made like men and have come down to us!"
