But when the young man heard the word, he went away grieved, for he had many possessions.


And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.


And Jesus said to them, "Can the groomsmen mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.


And for the second time a rooster crowed. Then Peter remembered the word that Jesus had said to him, "Before a rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times." And when he thought about it, he began to weep.


And He said to them, "What are these words which you are exchanging with one another as you walk, and you have a gloomy look?"


"But because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.


Mary Magdalene went reporting to the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her.
