Now it came to pass as they traveled, that He entered into a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house.


But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, don't You care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me."


And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.


Now there was a certain man who was sick, Lazarus from Bethany, of the village of Mary and her sister Martha.


Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying, "Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick."


Then the Jews said, "Look how He loved him!"


Therefore when He heard that he was sick, He then stayed in the place where He was for two days.


The disciples said to Him, "Rabbi, just now the Jews were seeking to stone You, and are You going there again?"


for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God.


And I made known to them Your name, and I will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them."
