And Paul said, "I would pray to God, both in a short time and a long time, not only you, but also all who are hearing me today, would become such as I am, except for these chains."


Having then gifts differing according to the grace having been given to us, let us use them: whether prophecy, let us prophecy according to the proportion of faith;


But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.


Now there are varieties of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit.


But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they should remain as I also remain;


But I used none of these things, nor have I written these things that it should become thus for me; for it is better for me rather to die than that anyone should make my boasting void.


Do we have no right to take along a wife who is a sister, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?
