God All-Powerful’s arrows are in me.\par My spirit feels the poison\par from those arrows!\par God’s terrible weapons are lined up\par against me.\par


We don’t enjoy punishment when we get it. Being punished is painful. But later, after we have learned from being punished, we have peace, because we start living right.


All night I cried loud like a lion.\par But my hopes were crushed\par like a lion eating bones.\par You finished my life in such a short time!\par


Since I was young, I was weak and sick.\par I have suffered your anger,\par I am helpless.\par


God, I suffer all day long.\par And you punish me every morning.\par


But it is God who did wrong to me.\par He set his trap to catch me.\par


“A person is fortunate\par when God corrects him!\par So don’t complain when\par God All-Powerful punishes you.\par


“Job, do you think that\par you really understand God?\par You can’t understand God All-Powerful.\par


“I am the Lord. I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They called me El Shaddai (God All-Powerful). They did not know my name, YAHWEH (Lord).


I pray that God All-Powerful will help you when you stand before the governor. I pray that he will let Benjamin, and also Simeon, come back safely. If not, I will again be sad from losing my son.”


When Abram was 99 years old, the Lord appeared to him. The Lord said, “I am God All-Powerful. [91] Do these things for me: Obey me and live the right way.


The Lord God says, “I am the Alpha and the Omega. {\cf2\super [6]} I am the One who is, who \{always\} was, and who is coming. I am the All-Powerful.”


After three days, the people came to Marah. [100] There was water at Marah, but it was too bitter to drink. (That is why the place was named Marah.)


God would’t let me catch my breath again.\par He would just give me more trouble.\par
