Lord, you rescued me from my enemies.\par You helped me defeat the people\par who stood against me.\par You saved me from cruel men.\par


God, be merciful to me.\par Be kind because my soul trusts you.\par I have come to you for protection,\par while the trouble passes.\par


Those people will live safely in high places. They will be protected in high rock fortresses. Those people will always have food and water.


Lord, I come to you for protection.\par Save me from my enemies.\par


My God, save me from wicked people.Save me from cruel, evil people.


Lord, show me your love,\par and defeat my enemies\par who are trying to kill me.\par Why? Because I am your servant.\par


The Lord says,\par “If a person trusts me, I will save him.\par I will protect my followers\par who worship my name.\par


May the Lord answer your call for help\par when you have troubles.\par May the God of Jacob protect you.\par


But the Lord says:\par “Bad people stole from the poor people.\par They took things from helpless people.\par But now I will stand and defend those weary (tired) people.”\par


You judges are not being fair\par in your decisions.\par You are not judging people fairly.\par
