“Your people will sin against you. I know this because every person sins. And you will be angry with your people. You will let their enemies defeat them. Their enemies will make them prisoners and carry them to some faraway land.


“But what does something clean\par have in common with something dirty?\par Nothing!\par


We all make many mistakes. If there were a person who never said anything wrong, then that person would be perfect. A person like that would be able to control their whole body, too.


I don’t know of any wrong that I have done. But that does not make me innocent (without guilt). The Lord is the One who judges me.


Compared to God, no person is good.\par No human being {\cf2\super [45]} can really be pure.\par


“A man can’t really be pure.\par A person {\cf2\super [25]} can’t be more right than God!\par


I was born in sin,\par and in sin my mother conceived me.\par


“People will sin against you—there is not a person that does not sin—and you will become angry with them. You will let an enemy defeat them, and be captured and forced to go to a land far away or near.


So are we Jews better than other people? No! We have already said that Jews and non-Jews are the same. They are all guilty of sin.
