Proverbs 14:10 - Easy To Read Version

And God’s peace will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. That peace which God gives is so great that we cannot understand it.


A good attitude gives a person support when he is ill, but no one can cheer up {\cf2\super [24]} a person with a bad attitude.


If a person is happy, then his face will show joy. But if a person is sad in his heart, then his spirit will show that sadness.


I hate my own life.\par So I will complain freely.\par My soul is very bitter,\par so now I will speak.\par


“Every person that hears these things should listen to what the Spirit {\cf2\super [20]} says to the churches!


You have not seen Christ, but still you love him. You can’t see him now, but you believe in him. You are filled with a joy that cannot be explained. And that joy is full of glory.


“I will not leave you all alone like children without parents. I will come back to you.


“So I won’t be quiet!\par I will speak out!\par My spirit is suffering!\par I will complain because\par my soul is bitter.\par


Hannah was very sad. She cried very much while she prayed to the Lord.


“Now I am very troubled. What should I say? Should I say, ‘Father save me from this time \{of suffering\}’? No, I came to this time so that I could suffer.


The wind {\cf2\super [25]} lifted me and took me away. I left that place. I was very sad and upset in my spirit. {\cf2\super [26]} But I felt Lord’s power in me!


The Lord tells his secrets to his followers.\par He teaches his Agreement {\cf2\super [153]} to them.\par


God would’t let me catch my breath again.\par He would just give me more trouble.\par


But the Shunammite woman went up the hill to the man of God [31] (Elisha). She {bowed down and} touched Elisha’s feet. Gehazi came near to pull the Shunammite woman away. But the man of God (Elisha) said to Gehazi, “Let her alone! She’s very upset, and the Lord didn’t tell me about it. The Lord hid this news from me.”


Jesus answered, “If any person loves me, then he will obey my teaching. My Father will love that person. My Father and I will come to that person and live with him.


They said to each other, “We are being punished for the bad thing we did to our younger brother Joseph. We saw the trouble he was in. He begged us to save him. But we refused to listen. So now we are in trouble.”


But another person dies\par after a hard life, with a bitter soul.\par He never enjoyed anything good.\par


Hannah answered, “Sir, I have not drunk any wine or beer. I am deeply troubled. I was telling the Lord about all my problems.
