Numbers 31:12 - Easy To Read Version

12 and brought them to Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the other people of Israel. They brought all of the things they took in war to the camp of Israel. The people of Israel were camped in the Jordan Valley in Moab. This was on the east side of the Jordan River across from Jericho.

They took all the people and animals


Then Moses, Eleazar the priest, and the leaders of the people went out of the camp to meet with the soldiers.


All the silver and gold and the things made from bronze and iron belong to the Lord. Those things must be put in the Lord’s treasury.”


The people of Israel kept for themselves all the things they found in the cities. They kept all the animals that they found in the city. But they killed all the people there. They did not allow any people to be left alive.
