So the people of Israel did everything the Lord told Moses. Each group camped under its own flag. And each person stayed with his own family and family group.


I am not there with you, but my heart is with you. I am happy to see your good lives and your strong faith in Christ.


But everything should be done in a way that is right and orderly.


God is not a God of confusion but a God of peace.


Then came Naphtali’s family group. Ahira son of Enan was the commander of that group.


Hobab was the son of Reuel, the Midianite. (Reuel was Moses’ father-in-law.) Moses said to Hobab, “We are traveling to the land that God promised to give to us. Come with us and we will be good to you. The Lord has promised good things to the people of Israel.”
