So when you give to poor people, give very secretly. Don’t let any person know what you are doing.


All these things didn’t come\par from me and my people!\par All these things come from you.\par We are only giving back to you\par things that came from you.\par


But, because of God’s grace (gift), that is what I am. And his grace that he gave me was not wasted. I worked harder than all the other apostles. (But I was not really the one working. It was God’s grace that was with me.)


We are all dirty with sin.\par Even our good works \{are not pure\}.\par They are like blood-stained rags.\par We are all like dead leaves.\par Our sins have carried us away like wind.\par


What great blessings there are for the people that want to do right more than anything else {\cf2\super [59]} !\par God will fully satisfy them.\par


I was without clothes, and you gave me something to wear. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you came to visit me.’


When did we see you alone and away from home and invite you into our home? When did we see you without clothes and give you something to wear?
