32 Jesus called his followers to him and said, “I feel sorry for these people. They have been with me three days, and now they have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away hungry. They might faint while going home.”

Jesus saw the many people and felt sorry for them. Jesus felt sorry for the people because the people were worried and helpless. The people were like sheep without a shepherd to lead them.


Just before dawn Paul began persuading all the people to eat something. He said, “For the past two weeks you have been waiting and watching. You have not eaten for 14 days.


When the Lord (Jesus) saw her, he felt very sorry for her. Jesus said to her, “Don’t cry.”

The followers asked Jesus, “Where can we get enough bread to feed all these people? We are far away from any town.”
