When a strong soldier wins wealth in war,\par you can’t take that wealth from him.\par When a powerful soldier guards a prisoner,\par that prisoner can’t escape.\par


If a person wants to enter a strong man’s house and steal his things, first the person must tie the strong man. Then the person can steal the things from the strong man’s house.


My dear children, you belong to God. So you have defeated them (the false teachers). Why? Because the One (God) who is in you is greater than the one (the devil) who is in \{the people of\} the world.


The devil has been sinning since the beginning. The person who continues to sin belongs to the devil. The Son of God (Christ) came for this: to destroy the devil’s work.


For this reason, I will reward him among my people. He will have a share of all things with the people that are strong. \{I will do this for him\} because he gave his life for the people and died.


But I use the power of God’s Spirit to force out demons. This shows that the kingdom of God has come to you.


“If a person is not with me, then he is against me. The person that does not work with me is working against me.
