You are leaning on a walking stick made of broken reed! This walking stick is Egypt. If a man leans on this walking stick, {it will break and} go through his hand and hurt him! The king of Egypt is like that to all people that trust in him.


“Come to me all you people that are tired and have heavy burdens. I will give you rest.


The Lord will lead his people\par like a shepherd leads sheep.\par The Lord will use his arm (power)\par and gather his sheep together.\par The Lord will pick up the little sheep\par and hold them in his arms.\par Their mothers will walk beside him.\par


But thanks be to God. God always leads us in victory through Christ. God uses us to spread his knowledge everywhere like a sweet-smelling perfume.


While John’s followers were leaving, Jesus began talking to the people about John. Jesus said, “What did you people go out to the desert to see? A weed {\cf2\super [134]} blown by the wind? No!


When Moses heard this, he agreed.
