When the apostles {\cf2\super [164]} came back, they told Jesus the things they had done on their trip. Then Jesus took them away to a town called Bethsaida. There, Jesus and his apostles could be alone together.


These are the names of the twelve apostles {\cf2\super [119]} : Simon (also called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James, son of Zebedee, and his brother John;


The time came for them to eat the Passover {\cf2\super [347]} meal. Jesus and the apostles {\cf2\super [348]} were together at the table.


The apostles {\cf2\super [269]} said to the Lord (Jesus), “Give us more faith!”


When the 72 {\cf2\super [187]} men came back from their trip, they were very happy. They said, “Lord, even the demons {\cf2\super [188]} obeyed us when we used your name!”


Then the apostles used lots {\cf2\super [16]} to choose one of the two men. The lots showed that Matthias was the one that the Lord wanted. So he became an apostle with the other eleven.


These women were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary, the mother of James, and some other women. These women told the apostles everything that happened.


The next morning, Jesus called his followers. He chose twelve of them. He named these men “apostles.” {\cf2\super [113]} They were:

John’s followers heard about what happened. So they came and got John’s body. They put it in a tomb {\cf2\super [78]} (grave).


The servant told Isaac about all the things that had happened.
