My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree make olives? No! Can a grapevine make figs? No! And a well full of salty water cannot give good water.


“If you want good fruit, you must make the tree good. If your tree is not good then it will have bad fruit. A tree is known by the kind of fruit it makes.


You will know these people because of the things they do. Good things don’t come from bad people, the same as grapes don’t come from thorn bushes. And figs don’t come from thorny weeds.


You will know these false people by the fruit they make (things they do).
