Jesus found a donkey and rode on it. This was like the Scripture {\cf2\super [194]} says:

The followers brought the mother donkey and the young donkey to Jesus. They put their coats on the donkeys, and Jesus sat on the coats.

Then each officer quickly took his robe off and put it on the steps in front of Jehu. Then they blew the trumpet and made the announcement, “Jehu is king!”

This happened to make clear the full meaning of what the prophet {\cf2\super [280]} said:

The followers answered, “The Master needs it.”

Jesus rode along the road toward Jerusalem. The followers spread their coats on the road before Jesus.

The next day the people in Jerusalem heard that Jesus was coming there. These were the many people that had come to the Passover {\cf2\super [192]} festival.
