If a person is proud, then he is in danger of destruction. If a person thinks he is better than other people, then he is in danger of defeat.


People that are proud and boast will become unimportant. But people who are humble will also become wise.


Wise people live a life that brings honor. Foolish people live a life that brings shame.


You must do the things that will show that you have really changed your hearts and lives. And don’t think that saying, ‘Abraham {\cf2\super [49]} is our father’ will help you. I tell you that God can make children for Abraham from these rocks here!


When Jesus said this, all the men that were criticizing him felt ashamed of themselves. And all the people were happy for the wonderful things Jesus was doing.
