God filled the hungry people\par with good things,\par but he sent the \{selfishly\} rich people\par away with nothing.\par


All the people ate and were filled. And there was much food left. Twelve baskets were filled with the pieces of food that were not eaten.


They defeated powerful cities.\par They took the fertile land.\par They got houses filled with good things.\par They got wells that were already dug.\par They got vineyards, olive trees, and plenty of fruit trees!\par They ate until they were full and fat.\par They enjoyed all the wonderful things\par you gave them.\par


Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy the good food and sweet drinks. And give some food and drinks to those people that didn’t prepare any food. Today is a special day to the Lord. Don’t be sad! Why? Because the joy of the Lord will make you strong.”


A person that does sloppy work is almost as bad as a person that destroys things.


Then the younger son gathered up all that he had and left. He traveled far away to another country. There the son wasted his money living like a fool.


Jesus said to his followers, “Once there was a rich man. This rich man hired a manager to take care of his business. Later, the rich man learned that his manager was cheating him.


Jesus and his followers were also invited to the wedding.
