So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first man on the cross beside Jesus. Then they broke the legs of the other man on the cross beside Jesus.


But one of the soldiers stuck his spear into Jesus’ side. Blood and water came out.


Then Elijah put the wood on the altar. He cut the bull into pieces. He laid the pieces on the wood.


The people laughed at Jesus, because they knew that the girl was dead.
