Jesus said, “My children, I will be with you only a short time more. You will look for me. And what I told the Jewish leaders, I tell you now: Where I am going you cannot come.


Some of the followers said to each other, “What does Jesus mean when he says, ‘After a short time you won’t see me. Then after another short time you will see me again’? And what does he mean when he says, ‘Because I am going to the Father’?”


There are many rooms in my Father’s house. I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you.


Now I am going back to the One who sent me. But none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’
