I am the least important of all of God’s people. But God gave me this gift—to tell the non-Jewish people the Good News about the riches Christ has. Those riches are too great to understand fully.


But Jesus said to me, ‘Leave now. I will send you far away to the non-Jewish people.’”


The Lord says, “I helped people that had not come to me for advice. The people that found me were not looking for me. I spoke to a nation that does not wear my name. I said, ‘Here I am! Here I am!’


I don’t care about my own life. The most important thing is that I finish my work. I want to finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to do—to tell people the Good News about God’s grace (kindness).


Then God said, “Now let’s make man. [6] We will make people as a copy of ourselves. People will be like us. They will rule over all the fish in the sea and the birds in the air. They will rule over all the large animals and all the little things that crawl on the earth.”


So let’s go down and confuse their language. Then they will not understand each other.”


Then I heard the wings. Every time the animals moved, their wings made a very loud noise. They were loud like a lot of water rushing by. They were loud like \{God\} All-Powerful. They were loud like an army or a crowd of people. And when the animals stopped moving, they put their wings down \{by their side\}.


The Lord said, ‘Will any of you trick King Ahab? I want him to go and fight against the army of Aram at Ramoth. Then he will be killed.’ The angels did not agree about what they should do.


The noise from the wings of the Cherub angels could be heard all the way out in the outer courtyard. The sound was very loud—like the thundering voice when God All-Powerful speaks.


The Lord God said, “Look, the man has become like us—he knows about good and evil. And now the man might take the fruit from the tree of life. If the man eats that fruit, he will live forever.”


Saul fell to the ground. He heard a voice saying to him: “Saul, Saul! Why are you doing these bad things to me?”


Paul continued speaking: “King Agrippa, {\cf2\super [495]} after I had this vision {\cf2\super [496]} from heaven, I obeyed it.


The Lord called Samuel. Samuel answered, “Here I am.”

After those things, God decided to test Abraham’s faith. God said to him, “Abraham!”


But then the Angel of the Lord stopped Abraham. The angel called from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!”


Saul looked back and saw me. He called to me and I answered him.
