Genesis 47:24 - Easy To Read Version

24 At harvest time, you must give one fifth of your crops to Pharaoh. You can keep four-fifths for yourselves. You can use the seed you keep for food and planting the next year. Now you can feed your families and your children.”

Then you should choose other men to collect food from the people. During the seven good years, the people must give them one fifth of all the food they grow.


It is good for a person\par to be kind and generous.\par It is good for a person\par to be fair in his business.\par


A person who helps poor people succeed\par will get many blessings. {\cf2\super [256]} \par When trouble comes,\par the Lord will save that person.\par
