Genesis 14:18 - Easy To Read Version

18 Melchizedek, the king of Salem, also went to meet Abram. Melchizedek was a priest of God Most High. Melchizedek brought bread and wine.

Jesus has already entered there and opened the way for us. Jesus has become the high priest {\cf2\super [52]} forever, the same as Melchizedek. {\cf2\super [53]}


The Lord made a promise,\par and he will not change his mind.\par “You are a priest forever—\par the kind of priest Melchizedek was.”\par


And in another part \{of the Scriptures {\cf2\super [40]} \} God says,


And God made Jesus the high priest, {\cf2\super [42]} the same as Melchizedek. {\cf2\super [43]}


God’s temple is in Salem. {\cf2\super [432]} \par God’s house is on Mount Zion.\par


This girl followed Paul and us. She said loudly, “These men are servants of the Most High God! They are telling you how you can be saved!”


I pray to God Most High for help.\par And God takes care of me completely!\par


I praise the Lord because he is good.\par I praise the name of the Lord Most-High.\par

David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh Gilead. These messengers told the men in Jabesh: “The Lord bless you, because you have shown kindness to your lord Saul by burying {his ashes}. [9]


Melchizedek {\cf2\super [54]} was the king of Salem and a priest for God the Most High. Melchizedek met Abraham {\cf2\super [55]} when Abraham was coming back after defeating the kings. That day Melchizedek blessed Abraham.


God gives us\par the wine that makes us happy,\par the oil that makes our skin soft, {\cf2\super [544]} \par and the food that makes us strong.\par
