Everything that God made is good. Nothing that God made should be refused if it is accepted with thanks to God.


Lord, you have done many wonderful things.\par The earth is full of the things you made.\par \{We see\} your wisdom in everything\par you do.\par


Why? Because the Lord worked six days and made the sky, the earth, the sea, and everything in them. And on the seventh day, God rested. In this way, the Lord blessed the Sabbath—the day of rest. The Lord made that a very special day.


May the Lord’s glory continue forever!\par May the Lord enjoy the things he made.\par


God Most High commands\par both good and bad things to happen.\par


The morning stars sang together\par and the angels {\cf2\super [81]} shouted with joy\par when that was done!\par


God finished the work he was doing. So on the seventh day God rested from his work.

God, you give all the living things\par the food they eat.\par You open your hands, filled with good food,\par and they eat until they are full.\par


God, you are good, and you do good things.\par Teach me your laws.\par


The Lord has a plan for everything. And in the Lord’s plan, evil people will be destroyed.


God gave us the ability to think about his world. {\cf2\super [16]} But we can never completely understand everything God does. And yet, God does everything at just the right time.


God blessed the seventh day and made it a holy day. God made that day special because on that day he rested from all the work he did while making the world.


“The Rock (the Lord)—his work is perfect! Why? Because all his ways are right! God is true and faithful. He is good and honest.
