Above the box were the Cherub angels {\cf2\super [98]} that showed God’s glory. These Cherub angels were over the mercy seat. {\cf2\super [99]} But we cannot say everything about these things now.


Jesus is the way our sins are taken away. And Jesus is the way that all people can have their sins taken away, too.


He gave himself for us. He died to free us from all evil. He died to make us pure people that belong only to him—people that are always wanting to do good things.


But when the right time came, God sent his Son. God’s Son was born from a woman. God’s Son lived under the law. {\cf2\super [48]}


God gave Jesus as a way to forgive people’s sins through faith. God forgives by the blood (death) of Jesus. God gave Jesus to show that he always does what is right and fair. God was right in the past when he was patient and did not punish people for their sins.


Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for building the temple. {\cf2\super [305]} Those plans were also for the porch around the temple, and for its buildings, its storerooms, its upper rooms, its inside rooms, and for the place for the mercy seat. {\cf2\super [306]}

Then Bezalel hammered gold to make two Cherub angels. He put the Cherub angels [403] on each end of the cover.
