In Christ all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are safely kept.

In the new life there is no difference between Greeks and Jews. There is no difference between people that are circumcised {\cf2\super [16]} and people that are not circumcised, or people that are from some foreign country, or Scythians. {\cf2\super [17]} There is no difference between slaves and free people. But Christ is in all those believers. And Christ is all that is important.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Christ, God has given us every spiritual blessing in heaven.

God sent him (Jesus). And he tells the things that God says. God gives \{him\} the Spirit {\cf2\super [56]} fully.

So Jesus came down, and he is the same One who went up. He went up above all the sky. Christ did that to fill everything with himself.

Then the Holy Spirit {\cf2\super [190]} made Jesus feel very happy. Jesus said, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth. I praise you because you have hidden these things from the wise and smart people. But you have shown these things to people that are like little children. Yes, Father, you did this because this is what you really wanted to do.

And before the world was made, God decided to make us his own children through Jesus Christ. That was what God wanted to do. That pleased him.

This is what God with his wisdom wanted: The world did not know God through the world’s own wisdom. So God used the message {\cf2\super [8]} that sounds foolish to save the people that believe it.
