26 God began by making one man (Adam). From him God made all the different people. God made them to live everywhere in the world. God decided exactly when and where they must live.

Adam [20] named his wife Eve. [21] Adam gave her this name because Eve is the mother of every person who ever lived.


We all have the same father (God). The same God made every one of us! So why do people cheat their brothers? Those people show that they don’t respect the Agreement. They don’t respect the Agreement that our ancestors made with God.


In Adam all of us die. In the same way, in Christ all of us will be made alive again.


The first man came from the dust of the earth. The second man (Christ) came from heaven.


My life is in your hands.\par Save me from my enemies.\par Some people are chasing me. {\cf2\super [192]} \par Save me from them.\par


Man’s life is limited.\par God, you decide how long a man lives.\par You set those limits for a man\par and nothing can change them.\par


God makes nations big and powerful,\par and then he destroys them.\par He makes nations grow large,\par then he scatters their people.\par


Those three men were Noah’s sons. And all the people on earth came from those three sons.


Some of the wise people will stumble \{and make mistakes\}. But the persecution must come. Why? So that they can be made stronger, purer, and without faults until the time of the end. Then, at the right time, that time of the end will come.’”


Those two kings will have their hearts set on hurting each other. They will sit at the same table and lie to each other, but it will not do either one any good. Why? Because God has set a time for their end to come.


You people near the city gates, cry!\par You people in the city, cry out!\par All of you people in Philistia\par will be frightened.\par Your courage will melt like hot wax.\par


The salvation \{that was given to us\} is very great. So surely we also will be punished if we live like this salvation is not important. It was the Lord (Jesus) who first told people about this salvation. And the people who heard him proved to us that this salvation is true.


Tell these people to come to me. Let them present their case and discuss these things.)


These things have been known\par from the beginning of time.’\par


You set the limits for everything on earth.\par And you created summer and winter.\par


I made the earth and all the people on it. I made all the animals on the earth. I did this with my great power and my strong arm. I can give the earth to anyone I want.


But God was always there doing things that prove he is real. He gives you rain from the sky. He gives you good harvests at the right times. He gives you plenty of food, and he fills your hearts with joy.”


God decided what he should do with them. Then God chose a place for them. God drew a line and showed them their land. So the animals will own that land forever. They will live there year after year.
