Acts 15:18
17 Referencias Cruzadas

And God gave me the work of telling all people about the plan for God’s secret truth. That secret truth has been hidden in God since the beginning of time. God is the One who created everything.

In Christ, God chose us before the world was made. God chose us in love to be his holy people {\cf2\super [4]} —people with no wrong in us before him.

Christ was chosen before the world was made. But he was shown \{to the world\} in these last times for you.

In Christ we were chosen \{to be God’s people\}. God had already planned for us to be his people, because that is what God wanted. And God is the One who makes everything agree with what he decides and wants.

God began by making one man (Adam). From him God made all the different people. God made them to live everywhere in the world. God decided exactly when and where they must live.

God is not a man; he will not lie. God is not a human being; his decisions will not change. If the Lord says he will do something, then he will do it. If the Lord makes a promise, then he will do the thing he promised.

Brothers and sisters, the Lord loves you. God chose you from the beginning to be saved. So we should always thank God for you. You are saved by the Spirit {\cf2\super [7]} making you holy {\cf2\super [8]} and by your faith (believing) in the truth.

This is the same as what the prophet {\cf2\super [185]} said:

The animal that you saw was once \{alive\}. But that animal is not \{alive\} now. But that animal will \{be alive and\} come up out of the bottomless pit and go away to be destroyed. The people that live on the earth will be amazed when they see the animal. They will be amazed because he was once \{alive\}, is not \{alive\} now, but will come again. These are the people whose names have never been written in the book of life since the beginning of the world.

All the people who live on earth will worship the animal. These are all the people since the beginning of the world whose names are not written in the Lamb’s book of life. The Lamb is the One who was killed.

“Then the king will say to those good people on his right, ‘Come. My Father has given you great blessings. Come and get the kingdom God promised you. That kingdom has been prepared for you since the world was made.

There is no other God like me. If there is, then that god should speak now. That god should come and show proof that he is like me. That god should tell me what has happened since the time I made these ancient people. That god should give signs to show that he knows what will happen in the future.

Tell these people to come to me. Let them present their case and discuss these things.)

{\cf2\super [119]} Then the people left alive in Edom,\par and all the people called by my name,\par will look to the Lord \{for help\}.”\par The Lord said those things,\par and he will make them happen.\par
