The Lord helps kings win their wars.\par The Lord saved his servant David\par from his enemy’s swords.\par


His family will continue forever,\par his kingdom as long as the heavens.\par


I found my servant David.\par And I anointed {\cf2\super [506]} him with my special oil.\par


The Lord helps his king win many battles!\par He shows his true love\par for his chosen king.\par He will be loyal to David and his descendants forever!\par


The seventh angel blew his trumpet. Then there were loud voices in heaven. The voices said:


The people of Israel and Judah will not serve foreign countries. No! They will serve the Lord their God. And they will serve David their king, {\cf2\super [236]} I will send that king to them.


I say to the Lord,\par “You are my place of safety, my fortress.\par My God, I trust you.”\par


David’s family will continue forever.\par His kingdom will last as long as the sun.\par


He will say to me,\par ‘You are my father.\par You are my God, my Rock, {\cf2\super [507]} my Savior.’\par


In the palaces of that city,\par God is known as the Fortress.\par


Lord, your strength makes the king happy.\par He is so happy when you save him.\par


But, Lord, you are my shield.\par You are my Glory.\par Lord, you make me important! {\cf2\super [8]} \par


The Lord is my Rock, [134] my Fortress, [135] my Place of Safety.


I will always love and support\par my chosen king.\par I will always make him strong.\par


Your family of kings will continue—you can depend on that! For you, your kingdom will continue forever! Your throne (kingdom) will stand forever!”
